Glazed Spiced Orange Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 seedless oranges
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    5 whole cloves
    3-inch piece stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Slice oranges 1/4-inch thick; discard ends.
    Place orange slices in saucepan; add water to cover.
    Cover pan; simmer for 30 minutes.
    Drain, rinse well and return slices to pan.
    Add sugar, vinegar, water, cloves and cinnamon.
    Simmer for 1 hour, uncovered.
    Orange slices should be tender and well glazed.
    Pack slices in sterilized jars.
    Fill with hot syrup and seal.
