Italian Sausage Stuffed Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    4 large baking apples
    1/4 c. finely crushed saltine crackers (7 crackers)
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
    Break up sausage in skillet; cook slowly with onion until meat is browned. Drain off fat.
