Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
5 egg whites, beaten
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream oleo, shortening and sugar well.
Add slightly beaten egg yolks.
Add flour alternately with buttermilk, in which soda has been dissolved.
Add vanilla.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Add coconut and nuts.
Bake in three 9-inch layers in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
