Quick Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 sticks butter or oleo
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
6 Tbsp. evaporated milk
3 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat butter and brown sugar over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar melts.
Blend in milk.
Cool.
Gradually beat in confectioners sugar until spreading consistency is reached.
Add vanilla.
Makes enough to frost two 9 x 13-inch cakes.
