Italian Crescent Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 can crescent rolls
    1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil leaves
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onions and mushrooms; drain off grease. Add tomato sauce.
    Pour into an 8 x 11-inch dish.
    Top with cheese.
    Separate rolls.
    Mix sour cream, oregano and basil. Spread 1 tablespoon mixture on each roll and roll up.
    Place on top of meat mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until rolls are brown (about 20 minutes).
    Makes 8 servings.
