Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar and egg, mix well. Add flour and stir until blended. Add vanilla and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Press to 1/8-inch thickness. Bake at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until brown.
