Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, cut 1/4-inch thick
    3 Tbsp. olive or cooking oil
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sherry or beef broth
    1 pt. sour cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut steak into 1/4 x 1-inch pieces. Brown meat in oil.
    Push meat to one side.
