Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. pears, chopped
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    3 c. flour
    1 c. oil
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Chop pears and cover with sugar.
    Refrigerate in covered container overnight.
    Mix dry ingredients together, then add egg and oil; mix.
    Add pears and mix.
    Bake in Bundt pan at 325\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour.
