Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium cabbage
    2 large white onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, onions and salt; set aside.
    Mix remaining ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.
    Toss and refrigerate.
    This is better if prepared the day before served.
