Louisiana Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. chopped onion
1 large green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
2 (16 oz.) cans red beans, drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 c. cooked ham or smoked sausage
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
Preparation

In 2-quart microwave-safe dish, combine oil, onion, green pepper, garlic, thyme and oregano.
Cover with lid; microwave on high 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring once during cooking.
