Quick Cajun Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    croutons or 1 slice toasted bread, diced
    5 c. boiling water
    1 dash cayenne pepper
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Fry onions in butter at medium heat for 10 minutes, until tender (not brown).
    Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add onions; stir well.
    Toss croutons in soup bowl and pour hot soup over it.
    Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and add a dash of cayenne pepper.
