Beverly'S Yummy Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted butter
    2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 (14 oz.) bag light caramels (about 50)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Spread half the mixture in lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 6 minutes.
    Remove; sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Combine caramels and remaining 1/3 cup evaporated milk in a saucepan and heat, stirring, until caramels are melted. Drizzle caramel mixture over cake.
    Crumble remaining cake mixture on top and bake 20 minutes.
    Cut when cool.
