Aunt Nema'S Cream Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter (do not use oleo or margarine)
3 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Boil to hard ball stage.
Do not stir after starts to boil. Do not scrape pan.
Pour on marble slab (this must be genuine marble).
Fold outside edges in as candy begins to cool.
As soon as candy is cool enough to handle, pull as you would taffy.
Cut into 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces.
Store in airtight container.
