Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
dates (optional)
Preparation

Melt butter; remove from heat and stir in brown sugar.
Cool. Beat in egg.
Sift dry ingredients; stir into brown sugar mixture. Add vanilla and nuts; mix well.
