Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 qt. cabbage (2 medium heads)
3 bell peppers
3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric
3 medium onions
1 pt. wine or cider vinegar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
-
Boil vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seed, celery seed and turmeric for 3 minutes.
Pour over chopped cabbage, onions and bell peppers while it is still hot.
