Pear Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
7 oz. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped dates
3 c. chopped pears
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. orange juice (optional)
Preparation

Cream sugar and oil.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix flour, cinnamon, salt and soda.
Add to creamed mixture.
Add orange juice and beat good.
Add vanilla, coconut, pears, dates and pecans.
Stir by hand.
Use tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
