Easy Wine Pork Chops - cooking recipe

6 to 8 thick loin chops
salt and pepper
white dinner wine
onions, quartered
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Preparation

Trim excess fat from pork chops.
Brown chops in heavy skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
Add white dinner wine to half cover the meat.
Arrange quartered onions around chops and sprinkle with chopped garlic.
Bake in a moderate oven (350\u00b0) for about 1 hour or until meat is fork-tender.
Add more wine, if needed.
Serve with rice.
