Oatmeal Macaroons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. molasses
1 c. sugar
1 egg (unbeaten)
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. rolled oats
1/3 c. each: chopped seedless raisins, chopped
dates and chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine the first 7 ingredients.
Sift the flour with soda and add to first mixture, mixing well.
Blend in remaining ingredients and drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
Yields 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
Very delicious in taste and when dropped from teaspoon and baked 10 minutes, makes a chewy cookie; baked longer makes a crisp cookie for dunking.
