Soup De Jour - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    finely chopped onion and green pepper
    1 pkg. dry vegetable soup mix
    leftovers
    seasonings: thyme, basil, your choice
    bouillon cube (optional)
    noodles
Preparation
    Lightly saute onion and peppers in a large pot.
    Add soup mix and water and cook for awhile.
    Add leftovers from refrigerator and freezer.
    Let it simmer for a while.
    Taste seasoning; add herbs. Add water as needed or V-8 juice.
    Add noodles near end of cooking. A little white wine or dry sherry or a teaspoon or so of red wine vinegar might be nice.
