Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pretzels
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 stick margarine, melted
    2 env. whipped topping
    1 c. cold milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 can strawberry pie filling
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine, pretzels, sugar, and margarine, set aside 1/2 cup for topping. Press the remaining mixture in an ungreased 13X9 pan. In a mixing bowl, beat whipped topping mix, milk and vanilla on high speed for 4 minutes, or until soft peaks form. Add creamed cheese and confectioners sugar; beat until smooth. Spread half over crust. Top with pie filling and then with remaining cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle reserved pretzel mixture over top. Refrigerate overnight.
