Rhubarb Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. salad oil
1 egg
1 c. sour milk (see note)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped black walnuts or pecans
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. rhubarb, diced fine

To sour milk; to 1 cup sweet milk, mix 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice.
