Kosher Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 doz. cucumbers
    4 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt (I use 1/4 c.)
    3 Tbsp. pickling spice
    garlic clove (I use 1/2 tsp. garlic salt)
Preparation
    Wash, dry and split pickles.
    Combine vinegar, water, sugar and spices.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Pack pickles in jars, then pour boiling liquid over top.
    Put a little dill on top of each jar. Process 10 to 12 minutes or water bath.
