Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 chocolate candy Kisses or stars

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except chocolates.
Using rounded teaspoonfuls, shape into balls.
Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and top with candy Kiss, pressing down firmly so cookie cracks around edge.
