90 Minute Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast (1 1/2 Tbsp.)
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    1 Tbsp. water
    coarse salt
Preparation
    Mix one cup flour with the sugar, salt and yeast.
    Heat 1 cup water and margarine.
    Gradually add to the dry ingredients and beat for 2 minutes.
    Add 1/2 cup flour.
    Beat at high speed 2 minutes.
    Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough. Knead 5 minutes.
    Set in a greased bowl.
    Cover.
    Let rise 40 minutes.
