Ingredients
3/4 c. each vinegar and ketchup
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
8 thick center-cut loin pork chops (about 3 lb.)
Preparation
In saucepan, mix vinegar and ketchup, water, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, hot pepper sauce and brown sugar. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour over pork chops in a deep bowl; cool.
Let stand in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
When ready to cook, arrange chops in shallow baking dish or roasting pan.
    Add the sauce.
Bake, uncovered, in preheated moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 1 1/2 hours or until chops are tender, basting occasionally with the sauce.
    Makes 4 generous servings.
