Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cocoa
    2 whole eggs
Preparation
    Mix ingredients as listed.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured cake pan.
