Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    2 c. cooked pumpkin
    3 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    2/3 c. nuts
    2/3 c. raisins or dates
    2/3 c. water
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add nuts and fruit; toss.
    Mix sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, one at a time, then pumpkin.
    Add water and flour, alternating to creamed mixture.
    Mix well.
    Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
