Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce, shredded
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 green peppers, chopped
    1 large purple onion, chopped
    1 small pkg. frozen green peas
    1 pkg. dry Italian dressing
    8 oz. sour cream
    bacon bits
    shredded cheese
Preparation
    Begin with lettuce in bottom of large bowl.
    Continue with remaining vegetables in order listed.
    Mix dressing, sour cream and mayo.
    Spread over top.
    Sprinkle bacon bits and cheese on top.
    Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
    You can use any vegetables, any amount.
