Light Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and water in heavy saucepan. Boil to hard ball stage, 252\u00b0.
Stir in peanuts and continue to cook to 300\u00b0. Remove from heat. Add salt and soda. Stir vigorously to keep mixture from boiling over when adding soda.
Stir only until blended.
Pour quickly onto a lightly buttered cookie sheet. Crack into pieces when cool.
