Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 candy kisses
1/2 c. shortening

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine shortening and peanut butter until blended.
Blend in sugars; add egg, milk and vanilla.
Mix well.
Combine remaining dry ingredients; shape dough into balls. Roll in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Top each cookie immediately with kiss.
