Ingredients

4 eggs, separated
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

In a medium size bowl, beat egg yolks until thick.
Add lemon juice, lemon peel and melted butter.
Combine sugar, flour and salt; add alternately with milk, beating constantly.
In separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into batter.
Pour into a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Set dish in a pan of hot water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 to 60 minutes, or until lightly browned. Serve warm topped with Cool Whip.
Makes about 8 servings.
