Snow Peak Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter or oleo
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Sift fine the flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt in mixing bowl.
Drop in shortening.
Add milk and vanilla.
Beat with mixer.
Add eggs and beat well.
Pour in a 10-inch prepared square cake pan.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup of chocolate chips on top of batter. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top of batter.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool.
Frost with chocolate frosting.
