Rich Butter Cake(1940) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    3/4 c. oil
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the oil and sugar gradually.
    Beat yolks until thick and add together dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with milk; beat until smooth.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
