Lemon Cream Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 eggs
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. nuts
2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation

Cut cream cheese in 1/4-inch cubes and refrigerate.
Sift flour, etc.
Cream shortening.
Add eggs.
Alternate water and dry ingredients.
Fold in cream cheese, nuts and rind.
