Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. Cavender's seasonings
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 onion, chopped fine
1 c. celery, chopped
1 skillet Cornbread
1 stick butter
2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 egg, beaten
chicken broth
1 can biscuits
1 to 2 onions
1/2 c. milk
slivered almonds or water chestnuts
Preparation

Cook turkey or chicken until done.
Bake Cornbread and biscuits day before.
Crumble both.\tSaute onion and celery in butter.
Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.
Place in baking dish; top with almonds or water chestnuts and bake.
