Pecan Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg white
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg yolk, cinnamon, flour and pecans.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Spread 1/4-inch thick in well-greased 10 x 15-inch pan.
    Add sugar to beaten egg white and brush over top of dough.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
