Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen (or fresh) strawberries
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. boiling water
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 (14 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Drain all juices; dissolve gelatin in hot water.
    Fold in remaining ingredients, except sour cream.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture in a large dish and chill until firm.
    Spread top with sour cream. Add other half of ingredients and return to refrigerator until firm.
