Icebox Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. All-Bran
2 c. 40% bran flakes
2 c. water
1 qt. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
5 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Place bran in large bowl; pour the water and buttermilk over bran and mix.
Add salt, sugar, oil and eggs; mix well.
Add raisins, dates and nuts; mix well again.
Add flour and soda and mix thoroughly.
Close and cover tightly and store in refrigerator.
Will keep in fridge for 6 to 8 weeks.
When you want muffins, fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
