Steamed Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white flour
    1 c. graham flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 c. seedless raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Sift white flour with soda and salt; add sugar and graham flour.
    Add remaining ingredients; beat well.
    Half-fill 4 greased 1-pound fruit cans; cover tightly and steam 1 1/2 hours on rack in covered pan, using small amount of boiling water.
