Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 c. boiling water

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add remaining ingredients.
