Calypso Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup crushed pineapple
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    #2 can beets, reserve juice
    2 Tbsp. butter
    Pinch of salt
Preparation
    Heat to boiling: pineapple, beet juice and vinegar.
    Mix cornstarch and sugar and add to liquid.
    Cook until thickened. Add drain beets, butter and salt.
    Serve hot.
