Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. mashed bananas
1/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and crushed bananas.
Sift flour, soda and salt together.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Add nuts.
Bake in greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour or until firm and brown.
