Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 small can chopped green chilies, drained
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal/milk and let it stand 15 minutes.
    Add other ingredients and blend well.
    Pour into well-greased skillet.
    Bake 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Sprinkle with cheese on top.
