Ginger Sprinkles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    canola oil (2/3 c. for crisp cookies or 1/3 c. oil and 1/3 c. whipped butter for moist cookies)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    4 Tbsp. molasses
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. powdered ginger
    approximately 1/4 c. sugar (for dipping)
    1/2 tsp. powdered cloves (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Mix oil and 3/4 cup sugar thoroughly. Add egg and beat well.
    Stir in molasses.
