3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon or almond extract
Preparation

Secret to success, have ingredients at room temperature and beat well.
Beat butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour and milk gradually and beat well.
Add extract and beat well.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and turn oven up to 400\u00b0 (without removing cake) and bake 10 minutes.
