Pumpkin Pie Cake - cooking recipe

1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
4 eggs
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. melted margarine
1 c. chopped pecans
whipped cream (optional)
Preparation

Beat together first 7 ingredients and pour in 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Sprinkle dry cake mix over mixture.
Pour melted margarine over cake mix and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, no longer.
Top with whipped cream, if desired.
