Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 to 2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and soda; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Place golf ball size portions of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until edges are light brown.
