Hard Cinnamon Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. cold water
    cinnamon oil
    red food coloring
Preparation
    Place sugar, corn syrup and cold water into medium saucepan. Bring to slow boil and cook to hard ball stage (350\u00b0).
    Turn off; beat and add 10 drops of cinnamon oil and food coloring.
    Stir and pour onto cookie sheet dusted with cornstarch.
    When cool, break into chips.
