Chinese Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tomato (large)
    6 c. chicken broth
    3 c. cabbage, shredded
    1/2 c. carrots, julienne
    1 c. onion, sliced thin
    1 c. celery, sliced
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. m.s.g.
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco
Preparation
    Blanch tomato, skin and dice.
    Saute in 3 tablespoons oil. Add with other vegetables to boiling broth.
    Add seasonings after allowing vegetables to cook until tender.
    Continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes.
