Herbed Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/2 tsp. dried marjoram leaves
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 frying chicken or use chicken pieces
    2/3 c. shortening
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt, thyme, marjoram, celery salt and pepper in plastic bag.
    Add a few pieces of chicken to coat at a time. Heat shortening in skillet.
    Fry chicken for 30 to 40 minutes without turning or lowering heat.
    Turn once for even browning.
